Darren over at ProBlogger started a "Highly effective bloggers" project and I figured I'd add my two cents. I haven't been blogging for all that long (a few months), but I have read up on the business and writing aspects of blogging in my spare time. I feel I have a good understanding and grasp of what it takes to survive in the Blog world. I’m going to give some general tips of what I feel is important. Here goes…- Give yourself enough time to: proofread, spell-check, reread, and write something of value
Do not sit down and try to post a new Blog entry if you are pressed for time. It won't be your best work and you could lose credibility from your readers if you make a habit of publishing weak posts. I’m not saying you have to spend hours and write long involved posts, but at least make sure your posts are spelled correct, have proper grammar, and provide something insightful.
- Have fun and don't forget to let your personality show in your writing
Unless you are blogging for a company and getting paid then I suggest to always have fun with your Blog. Even you blogging 'stiffs' out there getting paid can have fun if you try. Don't forget to throw in some humor and let your personality come out in your writing. People don't want to read some dull monotone Blog on the weather. That's what the weather channel is for! However, if you could manage to throw in some pizzazz and personality into a weather Blog I'm sure you could get some regular readers.

Thx for reading

You got mad skillz kid!! (on guitar)
Thx man. It just sucks because my bands place of practice just burned down =[. We used to play at our drummers house in Hot/Dry Florida, and it just recently burned down. So that kinda set me back on playing and with my band and our progress. Luckly my equipment wasn't over there!
I'm going to do some recordings and hopefuly put them up here soon. Maybe some acoustic stuff.
